INDIAN THUNDERBIRD TIE

(Thunderbird is the Indian Symbol which means Unlimited happiness)

INDIAN HANDBEADED

The beadwork on this tie is done on the Reservation at Cochiti Pueblo in Northern New Mexico. It is laboriously hand-beaded by Indian squaws in the 1930s.

INDIAN HANDWOVEN

Native Southwestern Indians, the real First Americans were practicing the art of weaving when the first Spanish conqulstadores entered this country in 1580. Today the descendants of those early Indlans are still skilled in weaving beautiful fabrics the the one. from which this tie is made our Th dians use only select quality. yarn and weave the cloth slowly and painstakingly by hand on simple looms. The finished cloth is then cut and sewed to make a tie that wears like iron and can be dry cleaned and renewed again and again. This tie will prove to be the best you ever owned.
